I was buying them around here for $1.29 per three. Now I can't get them. Anyone know where I can get them at a decent price online?

you can make your own drift wieghts with those rolls of round lead, kinda look like a BIG roll of solder. cut them to size ya want to flatten the end n punch a hole in the cut piece.clip them to your line with a cross-loc snap for a slidder type wieght. also you can make your own slinkes. its this hollow cord burnt closed at one end then spit shoot slide in that make the weight you want. a snap swivel will connect it to your line. used a mac-d drink straw to load the shot in the cloth tube. youll figure it out what im sayin.

It is much less expensive to use posting pliers and rolled lead. You cna get just the right weight that way too.

I know what ya mean ESOX, but you have to use quite a long piece of lead off the coil to obtain an ounce. I've tried it, you don't get all that many out of a coil. If I needed 3/8 oz., it'd be a different story.

Thanks for the help...

I can't use slinkies where I'm speaking of. It's really deep and fast and by the time it makes it to the bottom, the whole rig is past me and the drift is almost complete. Slinkies don't get down fast enough where I'm speaking of.

Check ebay. You can find some deals on weight there.
