I hunt in Gladwin, I was just wondering how the winter was last year? Also Spring. We didn't have ton of deer on the property last year. Thanks in advance for any insight.

last winter wasn't terrible anywhere. The herd should be up from the year before.

We are in the Sugar Springs area. Not alot of snow this year, especially compared to the previous year. It was a real early spring this year, you can tell by how early the farmers put the crops in. We shouldn't have an issue with the corn being in late this year I wouldn't think. We only had to have the driveway plowed a couple of times. We have been seeing alot of deer and some real nice bucks this summer. We are hoping for a real good year this year. Good luck!!

Thanks, kind of what I expected. Saw many does and fawns but not many bucks. Most of the bucks were spikes and we do not shoot those so no bucks for me last year. Did get some tasty does though as you can see that was further south though.

Draw your own conclusion but winter was real mild.
